PlaneShift - a non geographical approach to a new 3D MMORPG

By chance I’ve just got to find out about a MMORPG game that’s free of charge, to play and to download. What’s more its 3D and the graphics are reasonably good. It is called PlaneShift. More information about the game can be found on their website here, and on the forum here.
Because it is still in its beta stage now, there are many features there aren’t realisable at this time. It has the essence of what any RPG game has, adopt a character, build up skills and stats, earn 'trias' (cash) and kill NPCs for items to be sold. This continual process of character building is hampered by the fact that there aren’t many NPCs to be killed nor sufficiently motivated enough to “look for trouble” in the not too big realm. The game is also currently laden with bugs throughout like shields do nothing for you in defence, or in fighting you can only have a ‘normal’ stance even though there’s four others to choose from.
Despite all the flaws currently in the game, the game is playable to a certain extent when you have too much time on hand to kill, and that the developers seem intent on rectifying the bugs and improving the features in-game. Also Linux and Mac users will be glad to know that their platforms are supported for the game. The latest client release as of today is known as Crystal Blue v0.3.010.
