Does God have a sense of humour?

I was watching a comedy fest thingy, where 3 stand-up comedians were debating another 3 on this topic. Naturally the team that propose 'No' won, and as one of the them (Arj Barker) puts it:"Since we made so many jokes on God, He might probably be angry and let the opposition win, and if He indeed let them win, it just goes to prove that He can't take a joke, and henceforth, doesn't have a sense of humour... so we still win the case!"
The fact that they could have made so many references to God (whether biblical or not), just made me thought of 1 thing... To me, its simply ironic. Why do God make gay people, one of the nicest group of people and community than His normal straight average people? I don't have many gay friends, in fact, i don't think i have any now (so now you know i'm straight), but i love gay people. They just give me the impression of a caring, loving and happy bunch of people. Perhaps i could be wrong, as you can point out that i don't have any gay friends to start off with, but i do mix around with gay people occasionally on a social event. But my point is this, even though it is considered immoral to be gay, and i for one would not encourage it, why the irony of creating someone, so nice and charming( for a guy) to be a person whom we cannot accept on a religious ground? Didnt God knew them before they were born?? Wasn't it God's intention to design him/her the way they were??
Many may argue that to be homosexual, is a mental disorder, a traumatic sexual encounter, or simply a will of choice, hence it wasn't in God's intention at all. I seriously can't be sure of that. But what i can say is this: they do the things we do, but love more than we do. I don't think they practice some sorta perverse sex acts, but what im sure of is their love for their partners, are definitely more profound than the love we share with the opposite sex.
