Sedition charges to Singaporeans who made Racists remarks

Unbelievable. That’s my reaction towards the arrest of two Singaporean bloggers who made racists remarks on a blogsite and the other in a forum. I am in everyway against people who made derogatory and inflammatory remarks anytime anywhere. Nonetheless calling on the powers of “sedition” (- yes you may wanna look that word up in the dictionary) in arresting these people may seemed a little extreme. And in the words of ‘Curt’ in CPB: “Using sedition charges for an instance of racial speech is like using a nuclear bomb to get rid of ants in a kitchen”.
